KAREN HONNOR
Author & Poet - It's all about playing with words.
WRITE FROM THE HEART...
I have always had a passion to write. Mostly, fitting poetry and script writing in around my day job in the past, now I have closed my classroom door and I have the freedom to focus on my writing, in whatever form it takes. Writing is a powerful way to make connections with others and to start a conversation.
I find inspiration from my everyday and write with honesty and a touch of humor about the subjects that effect us all, building my self-confidence as I go. My books and blog continue to strike a chord with readers and I am learning and growing as I write my way through midlife.

CLICK & CONNECT
This is a little book of hope and connection. Here I have collected together my words in various forms, to inspire and make connections with readers, at a time when we all need positive moments and support from each other.
My aim is to use my writing to start conversations and to spread a little kindness and understanding, one word at a time.

UNRAVELLING
After a year in the making, my first novella is now out - I'm very excited to share it with you. Unravelling - A tale of strength, love and dementia.
Having lost a close relative to dementia, I have been able to draw upon my experience, as I bring the characters to life in this heartwarming historical fiction. Early reviews commend the story as "Beautifully written" and "A very good read."

FINDING MY WAY
This book marks my first steps as an author. Join me through moments of angst to zen as this account of personal discovery depicts my journey through motherhood, midlife and menopause. This commentary on life as a middle-aged woman in the 21st century reflects upon the many roles I juggle as a wife, mother and career woman whilst exploring my
self-confidence and mental
health issues.
I invite you to share in this
'no holds barred' look at
modern life and perhaps
like me, find a little
comfort and some sass
in your steps along the
way.
